Paintless dent repair (PDR) is an insurance industry recognized repair process that involves the removal of hail, and other dents from a vehicle’s exterior surface panels without disturbing the finish.

Paintless dent repair removes dents and dings through two common techniques, the first involves the use of specialized tools to apply pressure and massage the back side of the vehicle’s panel to encourage the removal of surface imperfections. The alternative method utilizes a bonding “tab” or device affixed to the exterior of the panel and pulling the dent from the topside. By using either of these techniques, our technicians are able to restore panel appearance without expensive refinishing, harmful chemicals, fumes or environmental impact.

When it comes to removing your dings, dents or hail damage, I am able to provide a flawless finish without using bond or fillers.

PDR (paintless dent removal) does not require the use of chemicals or fumes,  making it the most environmentally friendly way to repair hail and dent damage with the most effective results.

Custom paint, or factory paint, no matter the age of your paint, because of the nature of the repair, your current colour or finish will not be affected, or changed.

We brought our vehicle to Vantage Dent after making a hail damage insurance claim. We choose to go to a local body shop for the repairs, and are extremely happy with the result. Clint and the team of professionals he works with did an amazing job.

He took care of the rental car arrangements, and kept us updated on the progress of the repair. I would recommend anyone to use Vantage Dent, but if you live in Okotoks and area, you would be hard pressed to find a better local shop.

Brent, Okotoks

I had Clint come and remove a

toonie size dent in my 2007 GT3.

It was in a difficult spot so access was limited.  To say that I am “picky” maybe an understatement.  To say that Clint is more “picky” than me would be accurate.

Clint stayed on that one small dent until it was 100% gone. Clint focuses on good solid customer service and makes no promises over the phone which I appreciated.  I would trust Clint again in a heartbeat.

Damon, Okotoks

All I can say is “Wow”!!!  Clint did an amazing job that I thought I was going to have to take to a body shop to have fixed. He did an amazing job and I can’t recommend Vantage Dent enough. Clint quoted me a fair price to fix it and told me that after a few hours based on the damage that if he couldn’t get it to a level I was comfortable with that he wouldn’t charge me. I went and saw it before the final repair was done and OMG. If I hadn’t know there was damage I would have never known it existed and it wasn’t even a finished yet.

For a guy who is super picky about his truck, the workmanship and attention to detail of Clint’s work is beyond 5 Star. Fantastic work.

When mother nature strikes, I have the solution.

Paintless dent repair is the ideal solution for repairing and removing hail damage from vehicles. Not only does PDR provide a flawless finish, it can be more cost-effective than traditional auto body repair because there is no need for fillers or repainting the vehicle.

Hail damage takes an extreme amount of patience; due to the fact your vehicle may have over 1000 hail dents. PDR is the least expensive and the quickest process for hail repair.

While it may take up to a week to return your vehicle back to you, most repairs take only 1-3 days to revitalize your vehicle. I work with all insurance companies and can help navigate you through the insurance process making sure YOU are treated fairly and end up with the best possible repair.

Dings happen, some of the common dings are caused by small objects, whether from road debris or a tap from an object in the garage. Dings can be a quick repair, depending on the size and depth.

Unfortunately, smaller doesn’t always mean cheaper. The deeper the door ding or small dent can be, the more skill and time it takes to remove it. I have to take the utmost patience and skill to remove it carefully without disturbing your factor or custom finish. In most cases, I can quickly gain access behind the panel or from the outer side to remove your ding. However, my PDR methods may involve removing panels or creating a manufactured access point to gain backside access to the door dent.

It's generally not the size of the dent that determines whether or not PDR will be an effective solution but a few factors.

Removing larger dents is one of my specialties. I don’t bang, drill and fill it like a body shop. Because of the materials used on vehicles today most dents can be corrected. Be sure to address the issue quickly and use a qualified PDR and auto body technician to review the damage, there could be additional issues below the surface that also need to be addressed.

Crease dents like any other dent can be fixed by PDR. Creases come in various shapes and sizes, deep, shallow, long and short.

Creases can be caused by any item that impacts an area of the vehicle and moves along causing an elongated crease or they can be from an impact from an item with a large surface area.

Most body shops will tell you creases cannot be fixed using PDR techniques, however, this is simply not true, I have experience working with, and removing, crease dents.

Yes, PDR can be an added tool used in collision repair. There are applications when PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) can help negotiate damage not affecting the paint or finish of the vehicle, saving a lot of money.

“PDR” is an extremely specialized process that utilizes fabricated tools and lights very unique to our industry like a surgeon’s tools. Designed to gain access from behind the damaged panel. Pressure and heat at times is applied to the dented areas while meticulously massaging, manipulating and reforming the metal back into its pre-accident condition. Some may refer to us as a plastic surgeon for a car.

Most often, PDR involves working on the affected area(s) from behind the damage, this required removing the paneling and anything that may be in the direct affected area, and may also require working around the airbags of the vehicle. For these reasons, it's important that you ensure your PDR specialist is highly skilled and trained.

From behind the damage, working with specific tools, I can massage and slowly rub the dent or ding, never touching or affecting the actual paint. If other tools are used, they are all designed to protect the finish of your vehicle.
